We Report. You Decide.

I just felt something tickle in my right ear and then it felt like something was working its way to the outside.

So I reached in and pulled out an orangey-brown pellet of ear wax about the size of a pea.

It smelled funny so I didn’t taste it.

But, yeah, I was a little curious.

I once laughed so hard that the pickle I was eating at the time came right out my nose.

Sorry, I know that has nothing to do with your uh ear experience.

It surprised me, that's all.

Oh, I don't know about that, Meade.

We can file them both under "Surprising Bodily Expulsions."

Maybe we should make that "Body Expulsion Surprise" so it makes a better acronym. I'll keep working on it.

In the meantime, I find myself reminded of Neil Diamond and his "Crunchy Granola Suite."

And it's time for breakfast.

Perhaps I'll pour myself a bowl of Sweet Crunchy Granola®.

. . . And what did you do with that projectile piece of pickle, anyway?

Come on. You can tell me.

I'll keep it a secret.

I promise.

Heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh.

Compost, of course.

I composted it, bagged, and marketed it under my proprietary label: Meade's Live Earth®.

Every Saturday, during the season, I would set up my tent at the local farmers' market and sing a little jingle I invented:

Earth to ya
Earth to ya
What's a Live Earth®
Worth a to ya?

Until now, I never told a soul about the pickle.

Heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh.
